Ashley N. Christensen is a Northern California-based artist working across traditional and digital media. Her modern style draws on themes of nature and mental health. She is currently designing large-scale murals, always exploring new ways art can connect and heal.
Her freelance journey began with commissioned pencil portraits and expanded with animation in college. Ashley’s artistic journey included many mentors and prompted her to pass it on by supporting other artists, teaching art classes, and posting online tutorials. Along the way, she’s illustrated book covers, crafted classic-style comic strips, and brought vibrant life to graphic novels as a colorist. But it was a plein air retreat that introduced her to the magic of watercolor and her soft, modern style.
